Photographer Agreement
The short of it: your photos stay yours, we get permission to show them, and you can take that permission back whenever you like.
You keep your copyright. Every photo you upload remains yours. Fenceline and Tailfin never take ownership of your work, and nobody may reuse your photos without your permission.
What you grant us. By uploading, you grant Fenceline/Tailfin a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and resize (e.g. thumbnails) your photo on Fenceline and on the matching aircraft pages of Tailfin, credited to you.
You can revoke at any time. Making a photo private or deleting it revokes this license for that photo, and it disappears from public pages immediately. Deleting your account revokes the license for everything.
Real aircraft only. Everything you upload must be a photograph of a real aircraft. Flight-simulator screenshots, game captures, 3D renders, and AI-generated or AI-composited images are not allowed anywhere on Fenceline — not in the public feed and not in your private hangar. Moderators will remove them.
Your promises. You took the photo (or hold the rights to it), it shows a real aircraft, and it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
Moderation. We may decline or remove photos that don't meet the house standards or these terms. Watermarks are your choice at upload time.
Changes. If this agreement changes, you'll be notified on the site and asked to accept the new version before you can upload again. Photos uploaded under an earlier version stay governed by the version you accepted — until you accept a newer one, which then applies to all your uploads.
